This Essay was published in the monthly magazine "Yeni Dünya" (The New World)

In the mystical area, there are so many popular matters which do not lose anything out of their popularity as time goes on. Eventhough these matters look simple, they, either can not be answered or the interpretation do not satisfy the reader or the person in front of the television.
For example, in one of the TV channels, the presenter asks,
-Sir, what is the evil eye, does it exist, or is it only a false story?
The answer is extremely interesting; -If I say it exists, it is correct. If I say it doesn’t exist, it is also correct, but if it does not exist, then I would be ashamed on.
Then comes Lots of philosophical sayings, similar to the teachings in schools which we never meet in our daily lives.
The presenter repeats the question. The person is very calm. Our eyes are fixed on the TV screen, we are waiting with excitement, but nothing satisfactory comes out of his mouth.
-Sir, please leave aside to be ashamed on doomsday, one thousand years
later. Let’s not be ashamed to the people who are watching us now.
    Again no reply comes.
This time, we are watching another channel. Questions are asked to a person who claims himself to be a professor. The questions are asked for the purpose of defeating him. It seems to be the Court of Final Judgement. As time goes on, the subject of Astrological signs present in the Koran comes to the fore. It is impossible to deny because of the presence in the Koran. To receive just a tiny little bit of information is impossible.
At one point, the conversation goes on about Hazrat Hýzýr Aleyhesselam.*
It seems as if the presenter of the TV programme is speaking about the invisible world. Shall we cry or laugh!
Anyhow, let’s continue with what we have to do and go on in the direction of the heading.
In Islam, there is always a technical explanation for every single subject that has been opened to us. I want to show this with examples from the hadiths of our Prophet.
"each one of you should be careful not to blow into the glass while drinking something." (Sahih-i Müslim).
From Ýbn-i Abbas (r.a)
-Our Prophet, RasulAllah while passing by two graves declared; "Pay attention; they are definitely being made to suffer. The suffering is given because of a big matter. One of them was making tittle tattles (malicious gossip), and the other one didn’t avoid his urine."

Ravi says;
-Afterwards, RasulAllah wanted a branch from a date tree and divided it into two pieces. Afterwards, he planted them on each of the graves and declared, "As long as these branches remain fresh, I hope their suffering will get lighter" I am leaving you the interpretation of the above hadiths taken from Sahih-i Muslim. Meanwhile, my humble self will be answering the following questions which have been asked to me.

Ouestion: What do you know about the cortex of the brain?
It is the light grey material of the hemispheres of the brain on this earth. The number of cells in the shell is around fifteen billion. The shell of the human brain starts to form on the sixth month beginningfrom the existence in the mother’s womb. The thickness changes between 1mm and 4mms. It consists of 6 layers. Various parts of the shell are receptive to the stimuli coming from our sensory organs. For every single point of our body, there is a place on this shell. However, more space is reserved for the highly sensitive parts of our body with respect to the other parts. It is the outest layer of the brain which is responsible for controlling the voluntary actions, for uniting the senses and directing them, for arranging the functions of the mind and the feelings.
Upon the formation of the cortex, the brain has taken its final form.
Now, it is going to be capable of producing its own soul as a unit.

Question: What is the truth in UNITY/ONENESS (ikhlas)?
The truth in UNITY is not seeing the UNITY.

Ouestion: When do the jinns become very influential over the human beings?
At certain periods the jinns have serious pressure over people.
1) Before birth (during pregnancy) and the sensitive periods afterwards.
2) When the children reach puberty, when the hormones start to function.
3) In direct corelation with the astrological influences, they either decrease or increase their activities.

Question: How many types of magic (witchcraft) are there?
    There are two types of witchcraft;
1) The type which takes its roots from the jinns.
2) The type which is made by the brain waves.
For the first type of witchcraft the protective prayer is as follows:

"Rabbi ‘annii massaniyyash Shaytanu binusbin wa ‘adhab. Rabbi ‘a-‘auuzu
biqa min hamazaatish shaayatiini Wa ‘a-uzu biqa Rabbi an yakhduruun. Wa
khifzam-min kulli Shaytaanim -maarid" (Sad: 41, Muminun: 97-98, Saffat: 7)
This prayer should be repeated one hundred and fifty times in the mornings, and one hundred and fifty times in the evenings, making a total of three hundred.
As a precaution for the witchcraft made by the brain waves, the Surahs (Chapters) of Felak and Nas should be repeated five hundred times everyday. This process should last for forty days. It is more beneficial to recite into (towards) a glass of water and drink it afterwards.

Question: Are the prayers that we repeat beneficial for our deceased people?
The glory (Light) of the verses and surahs that we repeat definitely reach the deceased and beneficial without question.

Question: What is the condition of the body in the grave life?
Actually, some time after the person enters the grave, the soul doesn’t have any more connection with the grave. He passes over to the real grave life called the dimension/universe of Barzakh. It is useless to look for the deceased under the ground.

Question: Even if we don’t accept reincarnation, is there any possibility that the Saints may come back to this world?
Apart from the Prophets and Saints of highest levels, nobody (even the saints in certain levels) do not have the possibility of returning back
to this world. Just as the after-life realm is unknown for us, the worldly life becomes unknown for those who are in the dimension of life after death.

Question: What is meant by the following verse (17/44)?
All the things without any exception are in continuous remembrance of him. Yet, you can not understand their continuous remembrance.

The meaning in "All things are continuously remembering him" is the dhikr of the beautiful names of Allah. It means that all things that are in existence are bringing into the open certain names. For example, a very hard stone is the position where the name "Kaviy" comes out into the open. By the setting the hardness into the open, it is continuously in remembrance (dhikr) of Allah’s name "Kaviy".

Whereas in water the name "Hay" comes into the open. Here, the dhikr is made by the continuous movement of Hydrogen+Oxygen atoms.
All of these dhikrs should be considered within the concept of "Fatri/Constitutional dhikr" (achieving the objective and reason of one’s existence).
Whereas, men can also make dhikr verbally. This is done to bring out into open the meanings. In the Surah of Bakara in a part of verse 31, by saying "Allah has made Adam to exercise all the names", a reference is made to this kind of dhikr.

Question: What is Islam?
The roots of this word are the names "Selam" and "Silm", technically meaning to attain franquility and peace, therefore which automatically leads to surrender oneself in "Allah". Islam is the whole sum of the divine decrees. This fact is pointed out in the Koran with the verse (2/19) "Inned dine indallahil Islam" (It is certain that in Allah’s
view, the religion is Islam".
By the divine decrees, all the known organizations pertaining to mankind and the realisation of the social and political balances are mentioned.

Question: What is a pillar?
Pillar means applying (obeying) the order of Allah. However, inthe first place, as a result of the functions of the hormones, the brain’s capacity should have a condition to perceive the universal system, its mode of working, its creator, the supreme existent namely ALLAH.

Question: Does the quality of caliphate get reflected on all the people?
This concept is mentioned in the Chapter of Bakara in verse 30. However, it has become more specific in Chapter S’ad, verse 26 with the explanation "Oh! David, we have created you as a caliph on earth.
Therefore, being the Lord, don’t get carried away with your feelings of domination and passions among the human beings.
In general, the property of being a caliph is valid for every single unit that acts in accordance with the objective of his existence. When speaking of units, we are talking about angel, Jinn and Man. The Koran has brought an explanation to this fact in the 44th verse of the Chapter of Isra.
In the first place, all the prophets have the properties of caliph.
Because, they are alien beings in comparison with the other people, they have the right to lead people to show them what is right and dominate them.
Along with these, the people who are at the level of Nafs of Mardiyah, their way of living and point of view of looking at the universe have at least reached this level. These people that have the caliphate are:

Gavs-ul A’zam, Unitarians (who own Fardaniyat), Insan-el Qamil (the man of the Universe with utmost perfection, those saints who live in the dimension of the Universal man.

Question: Do you think the concepts of "Sufism" and "Tariqats" are perceived correctly?
In my opinion these concepts are not perceived correctly. When speaking of Sufism and Tariqats, one immediately thinks of methods and associations whose main job is to educate people who pray, who obey the rules of the religion very carefully, who are patient, content etc. in short, people with good morals.
However, it is very natural for a person to have these qualities even if he hasn’t entered one of these schools. He should have these qualities if he is a real believer in Islam. But, he shouldn’t think that Sufism consists of only these.

Question: All right, then what is Sufism?
Our prophet (may peace and blessings be upon him) has given humanity everlasting messages and codes. Each one evaluates these within the scope of his ability. There are some exceptionally gifted people, who can olecipher these warnings. They are called saints.
These saints are pious men who apart from having good morals, knew Allah through Haqk*, they understood the Absolute and the Only One Structure, and they have solved the mechanism of this one and only structure.
As a matter of centuries ago these people have said:
"Originally all the Universes are imaginery. Actually, there is only one structure belonging to Haqk, multiplicity is only a vision".
These findings are the latest truths/realities declared/admitted by the positive sciences of our day.

In this respect,
Sufism is knowing Allah.
Sufism is attaining Allah.
Sufism is getting acquainted with the Universes and the order (system) of Allah.
Sufism is knowing and living the sunnat.
Sufism is getting to know oneself and the Universe with its reality/truth.
Sufism is not being unaware (blind) of the one who is closer to you than your own self.

MAY ALLAH BE HELPING AND SUPPORTING US!
