SÛRA-I FATÝHA -4-

Iyyakenabüdü and Iyyakenastain,

(We are in servitude only to you and we ask for help only from you.)

First of all, let us talk about  a hadith which covers the general meaning of

The Chapter of Fatihah; we can pass over to the interpretation afterwards.

Ebu Hureyre (r.a.) narrates from Hz.Rasul of  Allah (s.a.v)

Allah has declared ‘’I have divided the salat between me and the person who is

in servitude to me, into two parts. One half is for myself the other half is for this person.’’

When the person says ‘’Knowing belongs to Allah, the Lord/Rabb of the Universes’’, then he is given whatever he wants and Allah says ‘This individual of mine has been thankful to me.’’

When the person says ‘Allah is Rahman and Rahim’, then Allah says ‘This individual of mine has praised me.’

When the person in servitude says ‘Allah is the owner of the day of  the judgement’, Allah declares ‘This individual of mine has respected me.’

When the person says ‘We are in servitude only to you and we ask for help only from you.’, Allah says ‘This is between me and this individual of mine. He has been given what he had wanted.’

When the person in servitude says ‘Guide and lead us to the correct path, which is the path of those whom you have favoured, not the path of those who have earned your anger and who have been astray’, then Allah says ‘This is the wish of  the individual of mine and whatever he wishes is his.’

Iyyakenabüdü, is the most important verse of  the Koran, the book of the Universe. This verse covers secrets and carries most of the important signs of  this book.

The individual can never go beyond imitative science and reach the verified (ascertained) science unless he deciphers this verse.

As a matter of fact, some Scientists of Islam say that Fatihah is the secret of the Koran.

The secret of Fatihah is the verse ‘’Iyyakenabüdü and Iyyakenastain’’.

Iyyakenabüdü;

Has the following meaning from the apparent aspect.

I am in servitude only to you. Our existence continues with the manifestations which are

in conformity with the divine decrees. The whole existence of the Universe comes into being with the manifestations of the Only Divine Being . The system of existence of the Universe has been programmed in this manner. The existence of the being as a represantative of Haqq is his prayer and his goal of existence.

This kind of prayer is accepted as the prayer which is the natural outcome of one’s innate composition.  When this prayer takes a conscious form, when it is being experienced /lived with awareness, it brings along the prayer performed with one’s will, in other words the certitude.

...and Iyyakenastain;

The interpretation of this verse is as follows:

We are living/experiencing these manifestations. The continuation of the said manifestations can only be possible with the help that would come from you.

In other words it is possible for The Only One being to observe Hu's self only through Hu's manifestations.

Hoping to meet you next week...
