t each dimension of life there can be delusions…
In the dimension of multiplicity,
In the dimension of meanings,
In  understanding  what  ego is…
Naturally, one  has to pay a price for his delusion(s).

The most important  delusions and the illusions  can be seen in the mystical area. If a concept is not based over a definite system, then it is for sure that one is going to have delusions.

The first step in the delusion  is to assume that one has reached his objective and to think that he has reached certain positions.
The hadiths say  ‘’it is impossible to reach certain points only by working’’; ‘’however, without working, it is impossible to understand the objective behind the existence of the system’’. As can be seen, they are showing clearly that the human beings are in a state of  delusion at the first step.

The delusion of the individual continues for a life time in every state of mind….
The one who does not know the reason of his existence, who cannot understand through deep thinking the purpose for which the beings have been created will sure add another piece to the chain made up of his mistakes.
The most significant examples are in the works of servitude that he does with regret (regretting about his past years and performance), because he has a god to worship.
There may be differences in the thoughts, the ideologies of the people,
However, there is never a change in the understanding of  worshipping…
For the worshippers,  that power is the ONLY thing, the only sacred thing, in all circumstances.  Those who are influenced by that power think that they have become  powerful too.
This goes on until his power shatters, his strong faith weakens or other worshippers leave him behind in the way they worship (the others worship more than he does)… At this point, all of a sudden everything starts to  develop in the opposite direction.
Staying away from that power is equal to  death for those who have the desire to worship.
They start questioning about the power which they could never perceive and which they have accepted with complete dedication within the boundaries of  time.
These actions are the alternative ways for worshipping.

In a sense they worship that power,  sometimes they become delighted with it and  enjoy it fully, but at times when they come across to something which they do not like,  they try to punish the subject of their worship.
This kind of thought is another kind of delusion.

If  the universe of existence is a whole, then  is it possible for an ideology to be considered as realistic which approves  to be directed towards a god and  to punish that god and perform the prayers at the same time.
Also, delusion makes itself felt in various ways. An example for this is the intentions.
This is the reason why Hz.Rasul of Allah has said that ‘’The intention of the believer is better  than his actions, wheras the actions of the non-believer are better than his intentions.’’
So, some individuals are mistaken in their intentions and some are in their actions.

Another mistake is  rejecting the fact of purification, rejecting that it is a must  in the search for one’s identity.
This disease is seen in those who have ‘prisoned themselves within the rules that they have created’.
Their understanding is simple.  Their ideas are  fixed, without leaving any place for flexibility and  they  only say  ‘’This is so!’’without leaving a place for any further thinking.
The number of people belonging to the class of those who think that  the above function will be realised only by obeying the pillars is  very very high , more than we can think of.
Especially, the rejection of the things which cannot be perceived  are accepted as the biggest delusion.
Try to think about the time when Hz.Rasul of Allah has told how he had gone from Makka to Jerusalem.
When he told about the event of ‘’Isra’’,   the closest ones among the people around him denied the religion of Islam, lost their faith and left the religion!…
The mistake is in the stubborness in not putting the purification activity into operation.
We cannot accept the fact that there could be any ayn-ul yaqin and  hakk-ul yakin deaths for him (translator’s note: these are used to denote the level of perception that the conscious mind has reached. The former indicates the level of certainty after it has been observed by the eye and the latter indicates the level where one understands fully and lives the truth)
Another field in which delusion is very active is the kind of living under the domination of the assumptions, suppositions, presumptions, such that every individual  basis his comments on the things that he sees  depending on   the influences he gets from the subject about  which he is making comments.
In this manner, because he does not bother to go deeper into the lower dimensions he finds himself amidst the circle of delusions.
One of the biggest delusions (most probably the one with the highest rank) is to be an idol or wish to be one.

This can never be compensated….
